Stephen Manske, CEO (Co-Founder)
Thirty years of entrepreneurial activities, which have spawned five successful startups, combined with his early corporate training at Eastman Kodak and senior management roles at Well Fargo Bank and Anacomp bring a unique blend of product and business experience and visionary leadership to ABT. The imaging software and turnkey systems, which he pioneered in the early 80's for companies such as Eastman Kodak, Bell & Howell, Tab Systems and Anacomp, helped launch what is now the Enterprise Report Management (ERM) industry. In the early 1990's he pioneered the deployment of the first SaaS based Document Management solution for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and American Express. Steve is based out of College Station, Texas.
Don White, CIO (Co-Founder)
With more than 20 years of software and systems development experience, Don was formerly Vice President of Internet application software development for Anacomp, Inc., where he architected the development of technologies related to document management over the Internet. Don also developed applications for use as a front-end data indexer for an Internet data management system, including data and performance analytics. While a project engineer at Anacomp, Don was responsible for the development of a CD based data management Archival/Retrieval system as well as design, development, and support of both application and system level components encompassing complex data streams structures. Don holds a B.S. in Computer Science. Don is based out of San Diego, California.
Ken Kopald, President
A recognized industry leader, Ken joined ABT after a 30 year career with Fuji Photo Film, U.S.A., Inc. where he was Vice President and General Manager of the Documents Products division. Under his leadership he increased Fuji's market share ten fold in the peak years. Introducing many new products along the way, he managed a field sales and support staff of over 40 people, selling into and managing multiple sales channels. Just prior to joining ABT, Ken was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Virtual Image Technology, one of the largest document imaging service providers in the Southeast. Ken has served on the AIIM International Board of Directors; he is in the AIIM Company of Fellows and has served on many AIIM Committees. He is a founding member of the Film based Imaging Association and has been its Chairman for past six years. In his role at ABT, Ken is responsible for all sales, marketing and business development activities essential to the continued growth of the company. Ken is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Sam Harrison MD, President, Healthcare Division
Chief Medical Officer Sam Harrison, M.D. brings to ABT a uniquely blended background as an accomplished and respected physician, a successful entrepreneur, and political activist for state and national healthcare initiatives. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University and completed medical school and residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He was an active practitioner for 13 years before following his entrepreneurial interests as co-owner and CMO of Intellamed, Inc. and later as co-owner and CMO of Anuncio Digital Media, Inc. Sam will leverage his unique background and in-depth knowledge of healthcare trends to architect ABT Health corporate direction. Dr. Harrison is based out of Bryan, Texas.
Carlos Rodriguez MBA, Chief Strategy Officer, Healthcare Division
Chief Strategy Officer Carlos Rodriquez MBA is a proven Healthcare Executive Leader with experience in Academic Medical Centers, Vice President of Business Operations and Corporate Officer for Baylor College of Medicine. He also has Physician Organization and Clinic Management experience as Chief Finance Officer for Texas Children's Physician Organization that comprised 189 community physicians with over 1 million patient encounters per year. Prior to his career in Healthcare, he served as Vice President of Operations and President of Oak Gringsby in Chicago Illinois. He also possesses hands on experience with Mergers, Acquisitions and Venture Capital during his years at Oak Industries and it's partnership with Bain Capital (Boston Massachusetts). Carlos is based out of Bryan, Texas.
John Burton (Chip), Chief Operating Officer
With a distinguished 30-year career in senior management roles leading sales and operations for national organizations in content management, Chip brings his extensive expertise in Electronic Medical Records and client needs analysis to assist our Healthcare Providers. Chip helped design and implement many of the most complex and robust client solutions provided by ABT in our Software as a Service (SaaS) product offering. Chip is focused on developing the Healthcare market and positioning ABT’s newly introduced ROI+ SaaS service offering. Chip is based out of Houston, Texas.
